Manmudcat,
Basically, the Nyroc Mod for the P650/P700 muffler includes cutting off the end cap, drilling approx 6 holes (some folks use 1/2 inch holes while others drill 3/8 inch holes to keep the sound level down) and then cut out the 1.25 inch baffle that is attached to the end cap...this leaves a nice big 2" hole for the exhaust to exit. Then you weld the end cap back together and the whole thing almost stock again...but it sounds throatier and breathes better. you can see exactly how to do it on Nyroc's new website and it might also be posted on www.atvpower.com
Happy trails...

sorry Mikey must be my canadian accent kicking in!but do you know nyroc,s web site so I can look into this mod I would presume that the muffler on the ac 650 le should be about the same as the kawi 650 so same mod would work

I have no idea of AC's muffler is the same as P650 muffler or not...but its worth looking into!

i'm taking mine off and just going back to plan ole jetting...........
I installed the DAJs hoping i could stay with stock jetting, wrong. I'm now down to 132/135 and still rich......I've fouled plugs and used 3times as much gas as i should have. I'm not happy with them at all. If i wanted to tinker a little more i'm sure i could get it dial in but i'm just tired of pilfering with it. The only way i would consider a DAJ is if i planned on riding in varying elevations. then all the tuning would be worth it.
I've reaped zero of the benifit that Thunderproducts claims for the DAJ. My gas milage was more than cut in half, throttle response has stunk, and i've fouled two sets of plugs......
I'm just gonna chalk this up as $110 lose............ at least i can give my edumacated opinion on them know
