Well guys need to tap your knowledge, got my jimmy stuck so I grabed my 650 put th winch to it and tried to get it out.The problem is that when I went from rev to foward the rpms were to high ( was getting cranky should have let myself cool down instead of thrashing my bike)made a loud grinding noise then it would only shift into rev then neut or low range no high then it just stayied in gear and won't shift no matter were I put the shifting lever.Any help would be great.

Try adjusting your shift linkage. There are a lot of posts on it here, just run a search. What kind of Jimmy you got? Just asking because i've got a K5.

2 things here First is you might of bent the shifting rod, if you can get it in low and low works fine then I think you might have internal probems. Your little part where the rod going into the engine could let go and also be your problem. More I think I think that let go... no biggie if that's all what happened? Where you shifting while it still was getting gas?

I would guess that the fork that moves the gears inside the tramission it bent or broke.

Same thing happened to us while pulling. had low and rev no high, then couldn't get it out of low. have to replace fork and two gears.

I hope I'm wrong, but sure sounds fimiliar. Maybe your dealer will help you if it still under warantee.

Good luck.

Sounds like your actuator may be messed up.
