Just got off the phone with Dan the Carbonman. One heck of a nice guy!!!!!

I ordered a airbox lid cover and he is going to make me a carbon fiber radiator cover that I will put 2 Starting Line 2in, Flow-Rite filters in. I hold him maybe he should look into making some with a filter to sell, he thought it was a good idea only had concerns on mounting clips.

It will bring cool forced air over the radiator and into the snorkel or snorkels[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] I will post some pictures in a couple of weeks when I get my machine back together.

 

That works wildwill, I did that 2 years ago to the first prairie I built but I used three 1 inch uni filters. It was great till we hit some water and it went straight into the air intake! Of corse I had removed the little filters so it was basicly open holes,, but it looked cool LOL!! Duck tape fixs that quick tho! We have actually ran with the cover off during races!

The filters are for snowmobiles, they repel water and snow. They just pop in from the front and the filter is a cloth circle that is removable and washable! Should work good, better work good!! for $20 each.
