NEED HELP! Lakota Problem!
#1
OK, heres the problem..
I took her out of the garage today to do some clean up(spraying windex on the plastic, thats it!), I started her up, and backed out fine..
after the cleaning...I went to start her back up and she wouldnt go....I didnt know why...so i use the choke.(its cold out) ...still nothing.....then......she BACKFIRES (never happend b4) and so now nothings working... i did get her running, but she didnt sound right... i touched the gas and then she stalled... I cleaned the plug, that looks ok... so i tried the recoil, nothing, but now the darn recoil wont go back in.....Im stumped guys, cause like a half hour b4 this, she was working fine
PLEASE HELP!
THANKS!!

yes your right
I did clean the carb a bit, cleaned the old plug, but that didnt do much, so I indeed put a new plug in, starts perfect, runs perfect. This was the first problem really I've had with it, I figured something big was wrong, because she hasnt been tuned like engine wise since she was baught about 8 months ago.
Oh heres something weird too.....In ATV ACTION, they list the Lakota spark plug as DR7EA or something like that.....but At the dealer the Regular plug comes up at DR8EA. The differences in the numbers means the warmer or colder the plug. I guess the 7 should be used for racing (or so im told) and when the quad is floored alot. The 8 produces more power...but isnt much different that the 7....LOL I really don't know...I have the 8 but it seems the same.
but thanks for the help guys!
