Most bottom end power and torque when comparing the DS-650, the Raptor, and the V stock for stock. It's a fact. Just like it's a fact that the DS has the most top end power and the highest top speed. Some things have enough data behind them that they're more than opinion, and this is one of them.

Is it possible that they said the V-Force had a lack of low-end power because of the slight delay of the auto tranny? I haven't read the article but I'm pretty sure that the V-Force probably has the most power, just might have trouble getting it to the ground? I don't know about their testing methods so I can't say for sure. Anyways, don't believe everything you read.

I just read the article, and I thought it was informative.

Basically they said what most people already know...the Raptor is a beast with a pipe kit on it.

I was very pleased to see the Raptor take another shootout.

The magazines always choose a yamaha, it kind of makes you wonder what kind of monitary gifts yamaha gives the magazines for choosing their product(s) as the winners. Its a name brand issue just like some people with clothes if it doesnt have the most popular and expensive price tag regardless of the quality and its origons then it is not for them. Its the same way with dirt bike magazines, MotoCross Action might as well be called Yamaha Action. These magazines really need to stop thier biased bull crap and unobjectively tell the public/buyers of thier magazine what is really the truth in an accurate and professional manner.

Actually, thats not true. The magazines have typically favored the honda and kawisuki machines in the past. Only after the release of the yfz450 have the magazines even given yamaha a positive rating. The mags are biased, just like any other jounalism. Its never going to change, so you just have to get used to it and take their words with a grain of salt.
