Default KEBC Shut off switch

I have had my P700 for about 6 months now I love the machine but the KEBC drives me nuts.It would be nice to let off the throttle and just coast instead of slowing down so fastall the time I haven't really done any investigating on my machine yet I thought the lazy thing to do was ask if anybody had put in an on/off switch on the KEBC circuit.I know we have a lot of electrical Whizzes around could anybody throw me some ideas. Thanks in advance.

No on off switch as of yet. You can take the cover off, remove the clip and spring from the bottom of the e brake shaft, take the actuator off the top and remove the shaft. Put the actuator back on and that way you remove the brake but the rest of the electricle stuff works fine!

You could buy a V Force belt cover... $40 - $50 from Kawi... then just change out the cover... If you don't need the 4X4 in these situations, you could just pull the fuse under the seat ( KBEC & 4 X 4 are tied together on the same fuse )... I would think that it could be switched out, if you found the right wire...

Thanks guys. I don't want to get rid of it I was just wanting to know if I could put a on./off
switch on the power to the actuator so when I'm just putting around it would just free wheel when I let off the throttle and then if I come to a steep hill I could just toggle it on.I'm actually surprised nobody has done this.
Regards.

I messed with the wiring a couple times trying it but somehow fried my control box under the seat. $300.00 plus to replace it! That's why I just removed the shaft!
