I went through this same delema. First I sold my 90 Quadzilla to buy a DS Baja, then the ole lady wanted an auto. OK, no DS, so I was here learning about the V-force. $6500, plus need a bigger fuel tank......well, maybe a cheaper 4X4 Scrambler for $6000......

Well it finally ended yesterday with a $3200 OTD 04 Trailblazer 250. She loves the colors, I love the price, and its plenty for some of the places we go.

I had an 02 awhile back that I abused for over a year, then sold it to my cousin who raced it for 2 years before buying a Z400. Neither of us ever had any trouble except the back brakes wore out kinda fast, but were replaced for free.

And it is one of the best 2 wheel drives for mud and snow, and nobody can argue that fact. It also has a wicked comfy ride, and the fenders keep you fairly clean. Of course electric start and reverse, and even the floorboards are all nice.

There are quite a few mods, from a $325 pipe, filter and clutch kit all the way up to a reed cage conversion (stock uses a piston-port design), so you can make it go faster and faster as you would like. Stock is about 50mph.

And as far as high maintainance, just grease it every now and then and go. Oil-injection means no premix, and concentric drive means simple chain adjustment.

Once the woman pointed out she liked the 'Blazer I had no second thoughts of spending twice as much for a bigger sport quad. It'll definately do what I want, 'cept replace the 90 QZ. O well!! Istill got the 87!!
