Not sure if you still frequent the board, but just wanted to say thanks for a great website. I was removing some of the shims on my secondary clutch today when everything went for $hit. I set everything down in the sequence it came off, but somehow manged to completely screw it up. Your how to arcticle saved my a$$. Also when I did get it back together I had to refer to the belt light reset procedure. Simple, but not something you could figure out without reference or instruction. Thanks!
Oh yeah. Have you ever pulled a clutch and found two shims...with a total width of 1.9mm. That seems like a lot, but I measured with calipers. And in case anyone else reads this, don't trust the packaging description on the Kawasaki shims. I picked up a .6 .8 and 1mm shim before hand. Two of them were as indicated, but the .8 measured 1.6. Not good if you're not using a caliper to verify. Just thought I'd let you guys know.
