650 Prairie-To buy or not to buy?
This is Canadian money, big difference from American money. Not sure if you were talking $1000 to high in US or Can currency.
Depending on the KMs it could be a good buy. The Praires are tough quads. I busted a CV joint on my Praire the first 2 weeks of owning it with stock tires. Now with my outlaws for the past year I have never had a problem. I think I had a factory defect or something. If you could get him down to $5800 then you doing well.

Most riders change tires due to the weak sidewalls on the dunlops causing rolling under and dipping in hard turns. There are some people who will not buy from a dealer and then right away replace the tires. Talk to the dealer seriously about this problem....maybe he will help out on the price of a new set.
Do a search on tires and you will come up with more than you want to know.

I tried the 25" mudlites, they are like a 4 ply tire. Mudlites are a good tire but skip the 25" tires, not strong enough. I got a flat on my first trip. I have never had a flat on my outlaws. The 26" mudlites are a different animal. They have much deeper tread and are a real 6 ply tire. I recommend those tires. Have fun with the Praire, its a wicked quad. Make sure the belt deflection is in spec and install a black spring in the secondary clutch. Search for Nyroc and you will see his website in his signature. Its a wealth of information.
