Whats the rage on EFI anyway? I mean, sure its probably more reliable and all, but I never have had much problems with carbs. I figure if you take care of it, its going to last anyway. Plus, its pretty easy to tweak carbs for more power. I know nothing of fuel injection.

Dual 34mm carbs. Good in some ways, not as good in others.

I heard the 700 EFI sportsman wouldn't outrun the 700 twin. Given the choice if there was an EFI and it was priced a lot higher, I'd take the carburated version. But a fuel injected car is a hell of a lot better than one with a carb.

The 700 sports EFI is a 4 valve pushrod motor. It can't beat an 8 valve OHC engine even if it is fuel injected. Plus, the sports is heavy.

Just quoting the review. There was no performance advantage to the EFI sportsman supposedly. I was wondering the same thing when I read it. But it could have been bull$hit too, cause half the stuff you read is contradicting.

I went to a local mud drags hosted by polaris dealer and beat 5 of the new 700s. It wasn't even close!
