no good at high speed and tippy- they are more than likely comparing it to sport quads. For a utility, I doubt its all that bad at all.

My boss has a 700 and it's a great bike. Another good thing is it came with a 3 year warranty, and for $500 you can get another 2 years. We checked the Twin Peeks, and Suzuki is only giving 6 months.(the exact same bike) Which one would you buy???
I wonder if they will offer the same deal with the BF???
I would have bought the 700, but it does not have IRS.
Where we drive, the IRS is the better one to have, for the clearance.
I am now waiting for "The Force" to come to town. I hope I can get the 3 / 5 year warranty.

For the anti-IRS guys- first, get a sport quad. second, if the original prairie would have had IRS, then we wouldn't have to hear any of this $hit from you, because IRS would be the only way to go. That sole factor kept the Sportsman 500 top dog for like 5 years.

For the "this thing is ugly" guys- sorry, you're just too critical. Find a Bombardier to call ugly, because thats the ugliest thing out, and most quads look good enough anyway. They can't all be shaped like Grizzlys.

For the Brand loyal bashers- hell, I'm wasting my breath here. That crap won't ever stop. Just enjoy being jealous til your manufacturer makes something new (unless you ride honda, and by the time Honda gets disc brakes and differential lock, everyone else will be flying spaceships around).

There isn't anything you can dog out on this quad until its released. Then if it has some defects in workmanship, then you can rag on that. Its so silly. Like the old Grizzly push button locker vs. the Prairie lever locker. That was so lame. I was just happy as hell that they both had the ability to lock the front end.
ANDY... maby us anti IRS guys like to haul 150-200lbs of gear on a camping trip WITH OUT draging on every rock and rut between here and there!

I'm going to buy a Brute Force as soon as my P650 is paid for. Prices will be down and there should be plenty of aftermarket goodies available by then. Heck, at the rate Kawi's going right now, it might be a Brute Force 1000!

Isnt it the more weight on an irs the lower to the ground it gets?

CUEBALL.... that was my point. you can load a sra quad down as heave as you want with out loseing and CG but with the same weight on a irs quad your 11 in of GC quickly becomes just a few inches.

I met a guy riding a new 700 Polaris Sportsman this weekend, he was complaining of the high center of gravity and tipping, he was admiring the Prairie. Grizz looks pretty high too. yeah that big 10-11inches dissapears quickly with a 200lb+ guy and some luggage on that IRS!

Then you don't have to worry about the high centre of gravity and tippyness if you have a load on. LOL
