I am a die hard Kawasaki fan. I've owned two Prairie 650's and now I own a Prairie 700. Like many, I was VERY excited about the release of the BF750 but was somewhat disappointed with the lack of EFI and choice of IRS and SRA. I REALLY prefer SRA and the BF750 would have been a beast with SRA. I'm sure itwill the fastest of all the quads I have listed the subject title HOWEVER I'm not sure I'll get one. I had called the dealer and reserved one but now I'm not sure. My Prairie 700 is so stable and powerful. The new KING QUAD looks so good and EFI is so attractive. I surely never thought I would say this but I actually like the new Arctic Cat 650 Hemi although I'm curious to see how it actually compares to the others in the power category. I have to admit I'm actually leaning towards the KING QUAD. I have also owned a Vinson some time ago and have nothing but fond memories of it. All it lacked was power. I'm also hearing that Yamaha is revamping the Grizz for release in the middle of 2005. All these choices are causing me to sit back and re-evaluate any immediate purchase of a new quad until I see how they all stack up power wise. What are your thoughts?

Here's my 2 cents:
I have similar feelings about the new BF 750...I strongly prefer SRA for my type of riding (XC racing and fast trail riding with friends). I'm sure the BF 750 will be faster than the P700 in a drag race or mud bog race, but I have to wonder how much slower the BF 750 (as compared to the P700) will be in the woods/XC racing b/c of its IRS set-up. If its top-heavy or tipsy in high speed turns as the atvconnection article indicated, then I will definitely pass on the BF 750. Another thing that I have to wonder about is that the BF 750 has lower compression ratio than the P700 and it puts out almost the exact same amount of max. torque as the P700 (altho the BF does have 4 more max hp than the P700). With all of these concerns, I am starting to think that I will just stick with my slightly modded P650 for now or wait to see if they later sell the Mike Penland/Team Green edition P700.
As for the KQ700, it also looks promising to me, but its IRS set-up is again something that I don't prefer.

Well, if they did come out with a BF750, I wouldn't be posting this concern. I wonder how the Arctic Cat will do power wise against the rest. I saw that it weighs around 710 lbs. dry. I would also guess that the KQ700 is probably slower than the P700. The magazines need to do a comparison soon so that I can make a decision!! lol
