KEBC Actuator lever broken - what color??
I just bought an '02 Prairie 650 and the KEBC actuator lever is broken. I looked up the part number at buykawasaki.com and it shows an unpainted one (like mine) and also green or yellow one. Ronayers shows the colored choices as red or blue. What are the different choices for? Are they altitude related? I normally ride from 4000' to 8000' if it matters.
Thanks in advance,
Larry

I thought about that, but most of my riding is in the mountains...very steep at times and I kinda wanted the benefit of having the thing on there. I've had a few Prairie 300's and a 400 and it was always a pain to have to give 'em part throttle just to slow down. If you want to get rid of yours, I'd be interested in buying it from you and send a few extra bucks along for the shipping. Thanks

I would guess the colors have to do with the primary spider plate thickness. If you had a different plate, it would be colored blue or red, and I think that would correspond to the lever color. Not sure theough, since I have never noticed the lever colors.
