Default Biggest module test yet, at the drag strip

NovaKaw650, I would still like to know if the DG3 holds 28* past 6500 to the limiter. Has anyone verified this claim?? If anyone has one and would like me to test it I would. It shouldn't be a big deal to have it tested. I am not trying to be biased although it may come out that way. So far I have not seen anyone definitely say yes or no to the main question. Does the DG3 module hold 28* past 6500 rpm to the rev limiter???

Im interested in the $10 parts from radio shack.

Alltoys, if the makers of the modules dont have patents on it or its material copywrited I see no reason why you need permission from them to post the contents and names of the parts.

Alltoys you might want to reread Zooms post to see who really made the false claims and as far as sending you one to test we all know that no module will hold 28 degrees past 6500 so please give it a rest. obviously you just want a dg3 to copy and sell yourself then claim yours is the best so pay for it like everyone else. The dg3 has been everything Diamond g said it was and that is coming from someone who has owned 2 Dyna ignitions the original and updated one as well as the High lifter power pack and original holeshot.

Pumpingpremium,

I think you have some facts wrong I am not making any money on these modules at all!!! It seems as there are electrical geniuses here but have not responded to the question are they involved with the module who nows. Even if I did have one to play with I do not have the ability to copy it nor would I want to. I believe I have said this before, modules are old school especially when there is a cdi out and I might say that I have been using other ignitions that far surpass the OEM cdi. I understand you don't see the significance of the answer to the question. If you don't let me know and I will explain it to you.

K, O, D,

I do respect the rights of the individual or company that is making the module only with their go ahead would I post the picture of a module. Also in the same respect if you go to an electronics wizard they can make you a frequency generator they are in the phone book. If you have a module which mostly everyone has at least one in their collection, you can take it to said wizard and have them make one for you. This is why I say there isn't a big deal about the modules as they are easily made.

I was talking to Scott at Dyna about this, and he can't seem to find any record of selling you a stock ignition, or a replacement, or hearing from you about either ignition dying, as you have posted on here. Maybe you could clarify exactly who you are, so that if there is a problem with one that you bought or got warranteed, it can be checked?

It sounds like Alltoys just wanted some sort of verification that it will hold the timing constant past where it normally starts dropping off. No need to get so defensive about it, and accuse him of trying to copy it. From what Zooom posted it doesn't sound like the timing is held constant, and it sounds like Zooom has a lot of knowledge about this DG product. Maybe Zooom could clarify if he has actually tested one of these to see if the timing effect is as he says? It sounds like that is what Alltoys wanted, not something to try to copy.

alltoys, I have an idea. Why dont you email me the parts list and instructions. That way you wont be putting it out for everyone to see, just I will see it. Im interested in how it works and what parts do what. I traded my old DG module for a new stock front wheel, Im running the DG3. Since the parts only cost $5 then that wouldnt be a bad investment to learn how they work. Trouble is I cant just go into Radio Shack and tell them, "hey I want to build a module to fool my speed sensor on my P650, what do I need to do that"? He isnt going to have any idea what Im talking about. So if you could kindly just email me the parts list I would be grateful.

Similiar to the curve 4 the V
I have since ask BEARMAN(Don at DGR) this ? more than once, and he tells me that he cant go into details about it. From my point of veiw I think it does what I posted earlier.

I have nothing to prove to anyone here nor will I go into defensive mode. My opinion is based on fact and I suggest anyone who doubts it to make a few phone calls as I have. Check where some of these modules were made and by whom, you just might be in for a surprise. I purchased my Dyna ignition from the same company out of Las Vegas that modified my Prairie 650 engine and they had no problem giving me a complete refund when I was not happy with it. I dont have to agree with what is posted here and will continue to give my opinions.
