What should I do? Suggestions?

I think it's time to replace the spring in my clutch but I don't know if it interfers with my extended warranty? This Black spring everyone puts in to save belt life.. Is it primary spring or secondary? Also where would I buy one of these? I live in canada, Is there any place this side of the border? Second part of dilemma is that I want to change this spring myself but will this effect belt adjustment? See up to this point I have been bringing my 02 650 to the dealer for the proper hourly services. Each time they tell me that they adjust the belt accordingly. I have about 154hrs on the machine now and I want to get it serviced before I atempt the spring job. More than likely they will adjust my belt again.. Should I get it serviced first or change spring first.. or does it matter which order? I'm kinda overdue I think with the service by 4 hrs? One other question?.. Should I buy a 700 belt if the dealer recommends belt replacement? Thanks for any help!

the black spring goes in the secondary and it is really easy to do. But you have to make a spring compressor tool , again realy easy to make cost less than ten bucks. Go to EPI web site they sell the black spring. WHile your changing the spring take out one of the sheevs on the secondary clutch for a really tight belt. I learnd how to do this on nyroc's site but i dont know if it is still up. one more thing i would never trust a stealers word.

I all ready have the tool made with the upgraded metal end cap.. I want to change the spring myself. So I can buy this same secondary Black spring at a polaris dealer? Does any one know if this spring will void your warranty? Also when I do this swap over.. I should pull out a sheev or shim? Or should I change the spring and then take to the dealer for them to adjust? Thanks for replies!
