Default Winch for a P700

Been doin some shoping for a winch for my p700. I know that there is a built in winch compartment on my machine but will just any winch fit in it or am I going to need to buy some mounting brackits for it to fit. I'm looking at a Ramsey 2500 Wireless Remote. Will this one just bolt up or what. Thanks

I have the Ramsey 2500 on mine, not the wireless though. There are some brackets that it uses, but I think they are supplied with the winch.

Thanks Fire, I'm probably going to buy it from cyclemore4less.com and no where on that site it does it say it's compatible with the stock mounting points on my p700. Are you sure it came with the brackets to mount to my prairie?

firepig if you get the ramsey don't use the silly tape they give for the antenna, just solder some fine wire to the anntenna connector they use.I mounted my control and antenna in the instrument pod no problem

Thanks for the tip Bush, will that void the lifetime warranty? Does it give you better range or does it just stay connected easier?

Did the same thing on my 02....used 18 guage wire..soldered it on
the stock [tin foil] didnt hold up for very long...havent has a prob since
It dont do anything for ant. range...just alot more durable
Also put epoxy on the base of the ant. to keep it glued to the inside of the plastic
housing of the speedo...very clean install...good luck
