You want to hang on!
#1
I just put a set of 27 inch Gators on ITP wheels on my p700 and what a difference in the mud compared to the stock tires. When you take it down the road though you want to hang on because the steering wheel shimmies back and forth so bad it is just about out of control. Does anyone know if it would make a big difference if I spent the money and had them balanced?

I have alot of ATV tires & wheels... several of them have been commercially spin balanced, but for the condition you are talking about, I've had better luck, adjusting the air pressure up or down, untill I find a "sweet spot" for the front tires... as little as 1/2 lb of air pressure difference, can make a world of difference in smoothness of "at speed" handling... of course you realize that the Gators are the type of tire, that may never handle well at speed... & one thing that spin balancing does, is they should be able to tell you if it is the rim, & if a huge amount of weight is needed to balance them, you may be able to get them replaced as defective... I even had a set of ATR's, which should have ridden very smoothly, but initally had a bad high speed wobble... but by dropping the pressure from 5 psi in the fronts, to 4.5 psi, caused them to smooth out drastically...
