Default V- force owners Do I want to become one??

I know you guys can give me some insight, I sold My LTZ400 today and the front runner for its repalcement is a V-force or a DS 650X, I had a chance to ride a DS for a little bit in the woods and the suspension was amazing, But I like the fact of haveing reverse and the twin cylinder just seems to have a lot of power, I strictly trail ride and hit some fields in the fall, i would just like to know how you guys like your machines power & suspension wise and what kind of price you got yours for otd, Im looking at $5975 for an 04 otd & $6400 for an 05, any major differences etc?? thanks

I dont think anything was changed from the 04 to the 05s except the name...umm the suspension on it is not the best from what I have been told...the v-force...now currently called the kfx700 was designed for the gncc racer...so it was made to excell in the woods...see if you can test drive the V...the thing has amazing torque and will keep you smiling

I have a DS 650 Baja and a V-Force (KFX 700). It's tough to beat the ride and power of the DS. But as far as ergonomics, the V-Force wins hands down. It loves to wheelie. Great power delivery and it doesn't feel like it weighs over 500 lbs while riding it. As soon as I get the chance, I will sell the DS and buy another KFX.

I love the V awsome machine and power. It is different than NE thing I have driven but in a good way. I was not happy with the shocks at first but after adjusting they do very well!! And yes reverse has saved my a$$ countless times!!

The V is a great machine, the best mod will be suspention,The factory shocks bite. You have to set it up for trails but then you cant jump it w/o bottoming it out. And I'm not talking big jumps. Would I buy another one , Hell yeah,I love the Auto.

Thanks for the insight guys, I bought an 04 today Dude definetly rips in the throttle department, Im going to try an dial inthe shocks tomorrow and would like some suggestions for some duals, She is too quiet!! after that depending how the holeshots do on the trails I might put some all tracks on the rear, Other than that Im glad I went with it

Congrats on your new ride. My suspension was set WAAAAYYYYYY too stiff for trail riding and the rebound in the rear was enough to cause a herniated disc in your back. I backed off the adjustment on that and it floats over the rough stuff now.
