Brute V. P700=$500 difference, what would you do ?
Right , wrong or indifferent I decided on the Brute. Picking it up first week in Sept. I went today to make me decision, took a short ride on the Brute and I think it will do well for what I need. If the irs doesn't work out on the ice I can always set up the V. Thanks for all the suggestions. Bottom line is I don't think I would suffer with either, both appear to be awesome machines.

I tried out and raced against a Brute with a p700 with Pendland cams and HMF exhaust.
the brute is a dog out of the hole- it needs to be jetted and clutched 4 better response
after I install a CDI on the brute it was better out of the hole and would spin the tires on pavement 20ft
in a drag race the p700 would get the jump out of the hole but at about 45 the Brute came up and went buy and was pulling away at 65mph on the p700 I am guessing the Brute was going 68 mph.
The Brute is the real deal as far as POWER goes.
