Default 650 Prairie Help !!!!

My bike will not start in gear with brakes depressed anymore. I figure its a relay or switch acting up. ANyone dealt with this?

Any help will be great.

Default 650 Prairie Help !!!!

A friend of mine had this prolem, all we did is adjust his brakes since it needed it anyway and it fixed the problem. I assume there was to much slack in the cable to depress the switch. Didnt look that close since it was an easy fix. it was the first thing we tried. Your brake light probably dont come on either. Have you tried the front and rear brakes?

yes I have tried both... and yes the brake light does work.

So it must be a second switch there somewhere.

I have an 02 & I'd make these mods first

Dana CDI , Holeshot, or Highlifter Module (tried all 3; CDI has 2-3 MPH topend over Modules)
Tires (ATRs or Bighorns) stay with 25" for better handling and performance
Front springs (Progressive or Elkas)
EPI Black Secondary; EPI Pink or red Primary (Red has 2-300+ RPM Stall)
P700 Belt

For a few more HP You'll have to rejet and also can add
Header Or NYROC muffler mod
K&N Power kit (comes with adjustable needles & K & N Filter; you can shim stock needles)

*Note the Dana made the biggest difference in bang for buck
