i cant get my secondary clutch off .. i took the nut off and it should just come off right?

 

YEP. be very, very, very easy and give it a little prying action. but remember be very, very, very easy. when you do get it off clean up the rust and junk, then put some grease on it for next time.

yea to heck with that! i could not get it off for my life! i pryed and pryed and finaly started to get mad and yanked the **** out of it and it would not come off... so i gave up on it and forced my belt off and the new one on.. it was still a good belt but i put a new one on anyways ...

 

DID YOU CHECK YOUR BELT DEFLECTION? to change belt deflection you have to get that secondary off. to change the belt properly you have to remove the primary, which you need a clutch pulling bolt and it cost around $30. when you change your belt deflection you need a spring compressor, which could be made or bought.

no i didnt check it.. i will be back into the clutch before i ride it anyways because i have a new prim spring coming.. where you get the bolt to remove the prim clutch?

 

sewe if you can borrow it from your dealer. i think denis kirk has it also.
