clutch spider

Default clutch spider

I'm upgradaing to a p700 primary.I ordered the parts.Do I need that tool to tighten up the spider to the sheave ? Or is their any way to do it without the tool.My dealer doesn't have the tool

rubicon, I was thinking about this and maybe you could use a large pipe wrench. Trouble is it requires 258 ft-lbs of torque. I would try my best to get the tool if I were you. Thats why I never took mine apart for the milling job.
