P360 or Eiger?
#1
I am considering one of these two for a second machine for the wife and son. Price is identical after adding a speedo/odo to the 360.
i have a P650 that i really like, so I'm partial to the Kaw. Son likes the Eiger camo pattern better. Just wondering what y'all think.....
Thanks.

I'm a die hard Kawi guy but I would go Eiger. I have a real hard time compareing a 360 with a 650. Since I have a 650 my expections on the Kawi 360 was too high. Saying that there are alot of people out there very happy with the 360. Bike wise it stands up very good however I find the power and handling for the size a lot to be desired. I wish they had put the P400 engine in that thing. I never buy anything on looks I look at the features and ability it has to offer; saying that thou if your son prefers one and you are interested in making ATVing a family sport I would recommend the Eiger camo almost for that reason. Both are very good bikes.

lets get the pros and cons
eiger-pros- great motor at 376 cc's.
- good handler
- great price
cons- cheap bumper
- no diff lock
- harder to use 4x4 selector( just getting picky)
- rear drum
prairie 360-pros- diff lock
- great engien braking
- great brakes
cons- slow top speed
- no miles-hour guage
- front springs little soft for fast turns.( but does make a better and smoother ride in rough terrain)
there ya go. both great but ya got to pick one.
p.s. the praire has been very reliable for me. great quad.

I have an 03 Eiger with 3,900 miles on it now. I can tell you it has been rock solid and never failed. Easy to start key on push button very seldom even needs the choke. Camo is the best choice wheteher you hunt or not just a better quality plastic. I have a new BF and am still trying to get used to all of the noise it makes, if you hear clanking on an Eiger there is a problem on this BF it is normal I guess. I haven't ever ridden a 360 so can't comment on that one but the Eiger is a tough solid machine just keep the oil changed and ride.
