650 primary clucth problem

Default 650 primary clucth problem

The problem is I cant get it to pop off yes I have the puller from epi and have the impact but man that thing will not come off . so I wondering is there any tricks of the trade to help here? It looks as if the spider bushing is shot.

Default 650 primary clucth problem

If memory serves me right the puller bolt rotates clockwise to remove your primary assembly. Does not take that much torque to remove it. If iyour primary is broken loose but still on the shaft, I'd remove the pullerbolt, remove the primary face plate and give the bearing a shot of Break-free penetrant, let it sit awhile, bump with rubber mallet, and remove your primary assembly.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Make sure you use an impact the hammer of the impact does help somewhat. If it is still on take a good ole ball pean hammer hit the end of the puller bolt a good hefty smack a rubber hammer will only frustrate the matter. The bolt is chamfered on the end made for impacts like a ball pean hammer!!!! If that doesn't work use some penetrating fluid tighten up the bolt and samck it again it will break lose.
