Default BF 750 Top speed?

What's the top speed for a Brute Force 750? Is it faster than a Grizzly?

Mike, I hear that the 700 kawi is faster top end then the Griz, and I also hear that the BF is a touch faster then the stock 700.

mine goes 55MPH in hurry and then it wobbles so bad I can't go any faster. I could whip the snot out of a Grizzly with my Dynatek CDI box, as long as it was a short race lol. I think if I left the stock rims and tires on it it would go 70MPH.

When I had my Dyna CDI in my B.F. went 68 mph w/ 27" ITP 589's. That would be 74 mph corrected for the tires. Most people get anywhere from 68-72 mph stock.

I've seen several reports that Grizz's go around 64 mph. Top speed means nothing to me though, because it's controlled by the CVT. The belt can only go so far and thats it.

If you had the B.F. 750 in a Motorcycle at about 600lbs then it would easily go over 100 mph.

How fast you go from 0- 60 is what I care about.. the Grizz has no chance against a B.F. their.

I am picking up my Grizzly tonight. My buddy likes the Grizzly also. I said the Grizzly should go about 68-72mph. He likes the Brute Force 750 also. I thought the BF 750 might top at 70-75mph. All I want to know is what are top ends of these machines and are they gas pigs? That's all.

Good luck on getting the Grizz to 70 mph. Also, I heard that the Speedo is a good bit off on the Grizz's at high speeds... you'll need a GPS to know for sure.

Dirtwheels tested the B.F. and the speedo hit 70 mph and the GPS also read 70 mph.

The B.F. is definitly thirsty. I might 70 miles to a 5 gallon tank. Don't know about the Grizz, but the Raptor gets terrible mileage and it's 300 lb's or so lighter.

I owned an '02 Grizzly and it didn't go anywhere near 70MPH, and it wasn't very quick either. Don't go racing Brutes or you will be embarrased lol.

2005,
I had the same issue with my B.F. with the c-series and ATR's. I would get to 55-60 and get a super shimmy. This only happens on asphalt or I should say you can only feel the shake on asphalt. Anyway I took the wheels to by friends place and balanced all 4 with weights mounted in the inside. No more shimmy all the way up to 72 MPH ( on the speedo).

that's what I want, to get them ballanced. The tire dealer laughed at me, "ballance an ATV tire???" he said.
Are you saying you took the tire off the rims, ballanced the rims and then put the tires back on?
