Which cdi for 700 Prairie?
Thats what I mean, the way I understand it the clutch's and pully's will never let it redline, and from what I have been told the drive system is incapable of being modded to that point, I am just agreeing with you that the revlimiter isn't realy a big deal. with all the modds I have I know longer need to be going down hill with a tail wind to get 70mph, I actualy can take it on up to the limit of the stock clutch setup of around 77mph and get there in realy realy quick like.

They are hard to compare. The prairie's are in a leage of there own as far as ute handeling and stability. Power and EFI was what I liked best about the SP800. I wanted the EFI for all the Colorado riding we have started doing. The 800 is the only quad that I found that wasn't taking a step backwards in the power department. Its not realy much if any stronger than a Twin Peaks or Brute750 if any. Its just more stable than the BF750 and it has the EFI I wanted. I guess the best way to put it is, if Kawi would have put the 750 in the BF650/prairie chassis and gave it EFI I would have bought one of those instead without a doubt. Since EFI was the main thing I was after and there are only two choices ot there and the dealer I use most often happens to sell both I road the KQ for a 3rd time back to back with the SP800 and after puting them both in off camber situations time and time and time again the polaris just felt alot more stable. I also took them out and got on them both pretty hard several times and discovered the SP800 deffinantly was the faster of the 2. I still have concerns about polaris quality, but they have a 1 year warranty and a lifetime belt warranty so I took a leap on faith that they have fixed the majority of there problems especaily with the belt drive, Trust me though the 1st time it strands me on a mountain with a shredded belt its gone and I have no plans on making any realy big tripps without a spare quad on the trailer just in case there past problems are not realy in the past.
