Default Need some ideas for waterproof gear..

Military Gore-Tex field jackets and pants are awesome, coupled with some mudd boots. They wash off with a hose pretty easily and keep you pretty warm in the winter. Summer you might sweat some though. Surplus stores should have them or even online. Thats one benifit to being in the military though....:-)

Default Need some ideas for waterproof gear..

I have to swear by Columbia bibs, Ive been in thunderstorms, blizzards, 5 degree boat rides with no windshield (while duck hunting), and never a complaint. Last weekend I went on a 3 day ride with snow and breaking through ice at 20-30 mph and never thought of the possibility of getting wet. They are durable as well, I climb trees, slide down trees, cross barbed wire, ect (while deer hunting). Had them 4 years and still as good as new. They are goretex and actually pretty light weight to be so warm, I bought the bibs for $120 and they were worth every penny.
