WELL...ok... I had the fastest utility quad there, & yes they had the race, the wind died down, & the sun came out, it was a beautyfull 17*... traction was a problem... & running "full" tires, & strapped suspension, felt like I was running a bob sled... to the point of nearly out of control... my top speed on the ice was only 64.5 mph, on the radar, but it was just over 2 mph faster than any of the Brute Forces, 800 Sportsmans, etc... which all ran nearly the same speeds, one of the Brutes took second... I was still spinning the tires, as I crossed the line, at 1000 ft... my speedo always said mid 70's, & it's calibrated for 25" tires, so with the 27" O.D., I'm still likey at or near 80 mph, on a surface with better traction...

I'd like to congratulate REDBRUTEFORCE ... he did an awesome job of driving in the figure 8 races... & took 1st place, bumping me to 2nd place in the figure 8, with only very simple mods made... lets see... thats Kawi 1 & 2 in the utility radar run, & Kawi 1 & 2 in the utility figure 8... not trying to belittle REDBRUTES win, but I'm disapointed that during my best azzkcking run, I bumped my teather kill switch out, between turns 3 & 4 , on my last lap, & screwed up my fastest race... Oh well, thats racing...

FREIZEN... did I meet you there...( I met lots of guy's )... If I did, you should have pointed out who you were, for me...

 

ahh yes, the race....I am a very very....impulsive person...I woke up at 8:30...and I did not sleep at all through the night...so I shut the alarm off and decided to go when I woke up again...I woke up late and decided not to go...and also with me getting laid off on friday, I need to watch how much gas I use, because I need to get back to winona in 2 weeks for a super bowl party [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] that I will be throwing along with some friends down there...I am sure I will meet you some other time hopefully soon.
