What to do on P700 CVT

mudblaster, you could have a possabilty of 3 different orange springs.
EPI orange H.D. which has a spring rating of 125/ 260. i dont think its this one
EPI orange............................................ ........ 75/ 134
polaris orange............................................ ... 65/185. i dont think its this one ether.
as for the secondary spring you will have to remove the pulley and open it up, which you will need a spring compressor tool. might be the black or red spring from EPI.
KAWIYOWEE, KOD and NEWBEATLE did a test on on the HL modl and others plus the cdi. what they found was the cdi took them at the top end. but 0 to to mid there was no differance. i dont think kawie will like the fact that you cut into the harness when you get a electrial problem.

im going to ask the guy who use to own it because the dealership that he owns put it in.
it revs up to around 2000 rpms befor it engauges.
at first i found it hard to get use to but now i find it ok.
i kind of like it because its seems to be right in the edge of the power band.
and it has plenty of torque also.

I would highly recomend the dalton orange/blue primary, epi black secondary, and the dyna CDI. I say the CDI over the dg5 mainly because its a 30 second install and its plug and play. Switch it back for warranty work and you wont have any wires cut.
I wouldnt change the weights or drill holes. For one it wont be needed with the new setup, another is for warranty, and another is it really wont help for all types of riding. Changing the weights works good if you have one particular goal in mind but for all types of riding the weights you have are good.

Epi black secondary
Dalton Org/Blu primary
Dynatek CDI
If thats not enough acceleration for you then look at a set of Dalton DPK-58 weights. They will inhance your accel further but will decrease top speed by 6mph or so but you will gain a bike length in a 300ft drag.
Thats on my bike. But I have exhaust and some other mods.
