Default BF750 question......

How well are the recoil starters sealed on the 750?......Do I need to do anything preventive?

1 more....Will loktite blue or red hold up to the heat on the exhaust shield bolts. Lost one in 1/2 an hour....I knew it would happen and dont know why I didnt fix them before I even left my garage.

Default BF750 question......

Silicon sealant works good on handle holder nipple & cover gasket. Red loctite works good on nuts/bolts. If/when you get your belt wet be sure and remove the CVT cover to clean your clutches and CVT housing after ride. Brake cleaner works good in CVT. I use a few drops of liquid graphite on the pickle fork

Default BF750 question......

the recoil starters seem to be sealed pretty good , a lot better than my old hondas and my yamaha is. I don't remember which loctite I used but mine heat shield bolts have not came loose since.
