I am not sure if anybody here subscribes to ATYSPORT but if you dont the just tested the kxf250 that wiliam yolkey rides in the xcountry series and i am impressed........with the quad that is not kawasaki. The last section of the review was all i needed to get sick to my stomach! Here is the question that everyone is dying to get answered and here is how the magazine put it "will kawasaki build it"......"no kawasaki will not build it". Yes i know that they would have to design a frame and suspension to make it a stocker but if kawasaki would look at the big picture i will guarantee you that if they were to produce a stocker it would be in more garages than the self proclaimed king of quads the all mighty raptor which hasnt even beat any thing yet except some banshees, ds's, and ex's in these little back yard races i am going to stop before i get to fired up!!!! I meen heaven forbid that kawisaki come out with two new quads a kxf250 and the new 650. You have to agree that it would be a big seller i meen it is a mock of a 250r ever though it has it's own thing going. People are paying big bucks to find a good 250r today and kawi could be getting this money if they would producethe kxf. I promise you that some riders would be cliping there wings and looking on the greener side of things if you know what i mean. L8ta, and feel free to express your opinions, and if this is two long for you this site has room.

I never owned a Kawasaki, never wanted too own one and never did like them, BUTTTTTTTTT I guarenteed that that bike will be the KING of all bikes for years and it would look good sitting next to my blue Raptor and red 400EX. I would love to own that quad

there is no way that a sport quad will ever outsell a utility quad. yes whoever brings out the next big sport quad will sell a ton of them. But they will never near the numbers the sportsmans, praries, foreman, and ranchers are putting up. the market for them is just to small.

The sport side is boming kids are born every day many of them. There is a increece of old MX racers staring in are sport who need something thats fast so it dont seem like a slouch to there old dirt bikes plus there are so many other people coming from your side of the market are learning how much fun they are so the market it studly gaining popularity

i agree that the market is increasing. I am going to venture into it eventually. BUT the sport quad market will never get to where the utility quad market is.

but if you thank about it how much biger is the utlity market going to get even that part of the market is shifting to the sport side look at the 93-99 kodiak thy had to be one of if not the best utlity bike ever but the changed it to make it sporty look at the FreeStyle MX in some events now there are 4-wheelers hiting the jumps and doing realy sick stuff i realy dont care what the sells figures are every one i know wants speed so as for about the 10 or 20 of my friends we will soon be going out and geting something faster

Cartman,
Do yourself a favor and don't buy a "suck"zuki! they haven't made anything good since the LT250 & 500. Even their RM's don't rate high in the mags.
Anything but Suzuki.

the 2001 RM250's are doing quite well in the rag reviews. and most of the rags LOVE the DR-Z400. Just because they make sub-par wheelers right now doesn't mean the next ones they make will be junk. I'm not flamin ya. heck, if the DR-Z powered quad isn't all I think it will be then i will get a 400EX
