I ordered several Kaw. parts from my local Kaw. dealership earlier this week...found out yesterday that the 2 oil seals I ordered for my P650 front diff are on backorder and not expected to be available from kaw. until June 1st (so it would be a few days after that before it would arrive at my dealership). I hope to get my quad back together sooner than that so I can make a local XC race.

Does anyone know where I can buy NOK brand oil seals for the P650 front diff BESIDES the Kaw. Dealership??? I went to 2 local bearing/seal shops this morning and they can only match up the smaller oil seal, but they can't get the larger oil seal (for the left side where the CV attaches)...apparently, this seal is 81mm OD and my local shops can't find one that size.

Any thoughts???

 

Did you try ron ayers.com.Will the seals off the p700 fit the p650.Hope you find them.

 

Thanx for the tip, but I called Ronayers and they don't carry many parts in stock (including the oil seals I'm looking for).

I bought my last set of seals for the rear drive shaft from http://www.mspseals.com/ they stock thousands of seals and I was able to replace the double lip style with triple lip style that were the same ID, OD, and cross section. This was nice because the new lips sealed on virgin shaft that was not worn from contact from the origional seal. If you can measure the origional ones, they can usually cross reference to somethingthat they have in stock. They were also less than 1/2 the price of the Kawi seals.

Thanx for the tip...I'll try them next time. For now, I found a guy who has some (new) spare oil seals at his house that he will ship to me on Monday. I lucked out this time!
