kfx 700 clutch kit or rev box?

Default kfx 700 clutch kit or rev box?

my friend is trying to figure out what he needs a clutch kit or rev box or both. what's the best way to go to get more out of the 700. He's been racing a suzki 400 and he can't seem too handle him.

Clutch kit will give you better/quicker take offs... the rev box will allow to go farther with each gear about 1000rpms more

Dalton Orange/Blue spring and some Razr2's tires. I can beat a Z400 very easy with the modds I have.

I have a EPI cluch kit in mine a 400 will not come close but a DS will spank me.

Dyna CDI, its not just a REV box it advances the timing to where it should have been from the factory, this is a true 5-6 HP difference

A CDI box isn't gonna do anything on a KFX700. The CVT limits how far the engine can rev, no clutch setup will hit the stock rev limiter. The CDI will give a slightly more aggresive timing curve, but nothing noticeable. CDIs have bee dyno tested on the other Kawie forum with minimal gains. Prairies will get alot out of a CDI because they have a very detuned stock one. This is not the case with the Vforce. What that V needs is a Dalton Orange/Blue spring, Dalton 56 clutch weights, and a Dalton billet overdrive cover.

I only have a CDI because my stock one went out.

You need the CDI first...and the dalton o/b spring is only $30....advantage is a good cdi box too
