BF ride help
Guys/ Gals
I need some input on tire pressure spring adjustment on a BF 750. I had my machine a year now and added a few mods Dyana CDI and a set of ITP C-Series mounted on 25 ATR's. I am very pleased with the handling and traction of this set up, night and day compared to the stockers. However the ride quality is not up to what an IRS machine should be. I put the stock tires and wheels back on and the ride is vastly improved with the springs on level 3 all-around just to check. So my question is what air pressure and spring adjustments are you guys running with the ITP/ATR set-up. I tried as low as 3.5 psi improved ride but way to much side wall flex and the steering is very hard. Then I went up in psi to about 6psi and the springs on the lowest setting, this works ok for cruzing around at speeds under 25mph, but if you pick it up gets a bit bouncy. I really like most of the benefits that these tires have but they just seem to be to darn hard not to mention I had to use a fair amount of weight to balance them to get the wobble out of them at speeds over 45. Any help is appreciated. If this is just the nature of this tire fine, any recommendations on a set of new 2-4ply tires will be appreciated as well.
