Green Mtn Power Sports will sell the 4 year warr for 375 ask for ryan he said he take care of anyone who called him he handles all the warr stuff 802-524-6565 . as far as I am concerned less then 100 year is good peice of mind and the ext warr starts after the first 6 months so for 375 you have 4 and half years of coverage

Jugernot,
The extended warranty is ONLY as good as your local dealers. In other words, if your local dealers are usually willing to cover repairs under an ext. warranty, then having that warranty is great. However, the local dealers around my house are VERY difficult to deal with and usually find any excuse possible to NOT cover my repairs under warranty (they say the damage was caused by abuse/misuse or b/c of the modifications I have on my quad). Before you buy an ext. warranty, you definitely should ask other ATV owners in your area to see if the local dealers there are usually willing to do warranty work or not.

Happy trails...

FYI: I bought a used 2002 650 last year for approximately 4400 US. (5700 CDN). It had about 3000 miles on it.

I too passed on the Extended warranty. For 1 my dealer is too far away to mess with it, #2. I Haven't ever had any really bad things go wrong with my other Kawie products. Most of the problems will show up in the 1st 6 months, so ride the heck out of it, if nothing breaks or other problems arise, then don't worry about spending the xtra bucks on the warranty. Anyway, you have 6 months to get the extended warranty, so why rush into it.
Also it does depend on the Dealer to honor a claim on the extended warranty, if the part/parts in ? were not a defect-then you will be forking the money out-of-your pocket to get it fix.
Used prices on 4wheelers are different, all depends where you live. But if you can buy a New '05 BF650 for $5999 w/warranty then for that '03 P650 would have to be around the $4500-4900 price range to sell, even with the low 100 miles.

Wow, good deal guys! I'm gonna get my warranty through one of the cheaper places as a Kawi warranty and is as good bought from one place as another.

I'm picking it up this Saturday!! If anyone see's a fat guy one a brand spankin new green BF650 around Fairbanks Alaska.... that'd be me. I'll most likely be holding on for dear life with my legs comin off the back.
