Default kx 500 in a tecate 4

The main reasons were because of the counter-balancer and the fact that there are big-bore kits available for it that are both powerful and reliable. Sprock Racing and ILR Performance are where to get the kits. I had even gone so far as to design my own rubber mounts using CAD2000 for the KX engine, but it was just going to be such a PITA that I scrapped the idea. I like to ride for more than a few seconds at a time, so vibration is a huge issue with me. Do what I did. Find a T4 engine, and talk to Corey Sprock or David Roberts (ILR) about a big-bore. Corey goes by the name Magoo over at Kawie Riders dot com.
I'm getting one of those 330 long rods done to my extra engine over the winter. I'm gonna do mine thru CWR in PA....closer. Corey has no time anymore anyway. They say it'll do 12-15 HP more than a standard 300 Sleeve kit. I start doing the math...the thing'll do like 65-70 HP! Couple that with a Lectron 38-39 and the new Anaconda pipe and you got ONE SICK FAST AND TORQUEY ZILLA, SHEE AND 330R EATIN' MACHINE. It's gonna be interesting. Definitely gonna need a +2 wider +1 forward stance with that.
