Default brute force 650i

Has anyone ridden it yet? My dealer doesnt have one yet and I was wondering if it was what it is supposed to be. I read somewhere that is was less tippy and sat lower and was a more nimble machine than the 750. Anybody know?

I am very interested in this too. I'm almost ready to give up on the King quad. The B/F looks awsome and IRS may be the ticket.

It definitely sits lower if you read the specs and has a larger gas tank which would be nice.I just wish they would put efi on it.

I rode one the other day to compare. and it is a little more nible than the 750. but I dont think its geometry. I think its from less power. when you gas the brute to take off you can feel the power instantly. on the 650 its more mild and doesnt try to pick up the front end. everything looks the exact same. maybe different shock settings ??? dunno

I bought the 650i then before I went to pick it up I changed my mind and bought the 750 BF. Why they even make the 650i? When the 750 is the way to go. It may cost another $1000.00 but take my advice you will regret buying the 650i when the 750 has more power and power is wheres its at.

That is not a real smart comment. The BF650i is Kawasaki's latest realeased technology. It is leading the way for what the 750 may possible become in the next year probably. It handles alot better than the BF750 and has more power than the BF650 IRS. They wanted to try new stuff out with out jacking with the BF750 now and that will give Kawi a IRS carbed quad when they change the BF750 to a BF800 with EFI in teh next couple years, maybe?

i have a 650i and wouldn't trade it straight across for ANY other atv. period. everybody has their own priorties, of course, but the 750 cannot offer me anything i need that the 650i does not have. i do not need to go as fast as even the 650i will go, and the 650i has improved front end geometry and shock valving. add to that the newest tech on a proven engine/platform and i'd say it is a definate contender. the only place a 750 has a real advantage is sheer power. if you need the very most get the 750. and there are a lot of people that do need the 750, like mudders with big tires, and those that just like speed.
i bought the 650i more because i thought the smaller engine should give the drivetrain a "reliability margin" for lack of a better term, but i can tell that it is still strong enough to tear something up if i tried. i would have to say, just be honest with yourself when you consider your needs, and let that decide for you.

Amen there. I bought the 750, well just because I admit, to get the most power. But looking back on it now I would like to have tried the 650i. But the dealer only had the SRA model at that time.

Go get your 650i, meet me in a mudhole or a trail it dont matter, then ask me after about an hour of riding which do you prefer. My 750 can do more, handle better, and go faster where ever the 650i can go. Ive rode both, other than the power theres no difference. This thread is about the differnce between a 650i and a 750, not what Kawi whats to do in the future or tech stuff Einstein.
