prarie clutch kit

Default prarie clutch kit

my buddy and i ae doing extensive motor mods on our prarie 650s and we need to know if we should worry with yhe clutch work. how will it affect our speed, take off, etc.... and if it id worth it what should we do?

I do the high speed Modifications for these clutches and it helps the bike rev a tad faster also. I put new bushings in and shim the buttons and they stay really quiet for a long time. It is a good mod for the money spent. My 650 will run over 70mph with this and we have 1 good 700 that went 82mph on a dyno but I got him way out there.

I lost speed with my clutch kit. At least 5 - 8 mph .

Running 27" tires you'll need a different Primary spring. I'd try the EPI red primary first to see how you like it. The Black EPI secondary is also recommended for bigger tires. Last I would experiment with clutch weights. Call dalton industries or ritter cycle racing for suggestions with your set up. Both companies sell tons of clutch assessories and could suggest for your specific mods/HP/application[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

The big tires will kill the big mph nothing you can do there . Like tuff enough said to do will be best...jh
