Default Top speed belt trip.

I was riding today and held it wide open for just a few seconds and then at 62mph the belt switch tripped. I reset it and rode home then took out my last shim. The Dayco belt looked fine and no wear on the sheaves.I did not check for belt deflection as I think that any way I would check it would be too subjective. I reinstalled and went at it again. Same results... what gives? Is my belt worn out or what? I love to do full throttle from dead stops and it never trips doing this.

i'd invest in t Kawi belt and set deflection. the Dayco has a horrible rep in the Kawis.
