Default opinions on new quad

looking into buying a new sport atv. i have now a yamaha warrior. all of my buddies have are raptor 700"s and banshee"s . i want something different. i was thinking either the kawi 700 or the honda 450r. i do want something if not eqivelant to the raptors but also faster. what are my options ? the only thing im unsure of on the kxf 700 is its automatic with shaft drive. ?????please let me know what your opionions are thanks brian

your talking about two whole different sides of the ball park there man. one thing to remember, is 450R has no reverse, so it wouldnt be that great on trails while all your buddys back up and blast off. the KFX700 is a proven trail machine and a GREAT duner. and with a few mods superfast. if your looking at riding on hard pack MX style terrain with big jumps you need to go with the 450R , if your looking for a trail/dune player with a ton of power go for the KFX700. myself I'd go with the kawi, just because I NEVER ride red.

If your looking at sport quads I would check out the new fuel injected 450 by Suzuki. It will be a serious player on the track and at the dunes. Probably a little wide to be the best trail quad imho.

I agree with Curls, although I'd wait for the 450 to come from Kawi. Seriously though, if you're at all into gravel pit riding, MX and jumping the KFX700 is not the answer. It's manageable, but definitely not as enjoyable as a shiftable lightweight jumper.

If you're into trailriding and hillclimbing, I don't think there's a quad out there that can touch it, hill-climbing especially. I ride mine alot on the Transcanada pipeline which is like a hydro line with a mogul filled trail down it. Lots of fun for the V-Force. I've never had a chance to ride dunes but I think it would kick *** in the sand.

If your a small to med. size guy I would think the 450 or something similar , I your a big guy just trail riding and mixin it up once in a while and would like the ergos, auto, reverse and lots of kawa powa go with the kfx 700 , if I was younger that would be my choice. Im really only 44 but I know I would get carried away, ill stay with the 4 bys.
