HOW DO I MAKE THE KFX700 MORE STABLE AT HIGH SPEEDS

Its your front holeshot tires, the outside lug can be shaved or cut off
Rear holeshots are fine
Try someone elses tire brand on front.
Also make sure you have the exact amount of air in both front and both rear tires. like 6 lbs front and 5 in rear or what ever tire pressure you are running.

I have a similar problem on my KFX 700. It had a bent rim I replaced this week. When I bought it a few months back it had a bent rim were the previous owner hit a flat rock on the inside of the front rim, but It still rode ok. I aligned with a straight edge with about 1/4 inch toe in. At about 40 mph it starts to shimmy and shake almost uncontrollable. I checked tire pressure as well and both are at 5 psi. Doesn't do it as bad in the dirt, but still noticeable. What would be a good camber setting to help and how do you change it? Could my hub be bent if the previous owner hit hard enough to bend the rim? Can't tell when you spin it by hand.
I will check the bearings to make sure they are tight. What about play in the front end? How much play should be in the tie rod ends. I am frustrated since I finally got my new rim in and it didn't fix the problem. Arrgh

dtaylor1, try starting a new thread asking your specific question. I doubt your hub is bent, but if it was ran for a while with the bent rim, I could see the bearings being trashed on that side. There should be little play in the tie rod ends. Lift that wheel off the ground, grab it with both hands, and wiggle it back and forth to see if it has any play.
