KFX700s are fast!

Default KFX700s are fast!

Sorry for taking so long to reply. Well, i am 6'8" 160 lbs. the DS 650, or the 660r are more comfortable for me from their stock form, but that is my opion. But when the DS has 11 inch travel in front and 10.5 inch in back you can't get any smother. another reason i like it so much is the wrap around seat. Your knees don't bang into plastic but into the seat. but my quad is old and needs to be updated badly. i like the new improvements on the raptor with the 700 motor and efi.

I like the kfx exspeacialy the limited edition blue that is awsome i like that it is a auto because there is no other big bore with a auto so it makes it really nice in the trails with ton of power. i also like the efi and the reverse. the things i don't like is that it is shaft drive more wieght and more problems, the big front fenders that don't cover the front wheels so you get muddy. and the center of gravity and the hard seat.
well i guess i just expected more from kawi since the kfx is their biggest sport quad.
That is just my opion. I love it for the trails which i think it was intended for. i think kawi could of got more power out of the production Kfx 700. i heard that the proto types kfx 700 did 100mph. which kawi had to turn down to follow the laws but why did they turn it down that much?

There was an '89 Zilla out there that day that I handled....maybe it was an issue of traction[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]. There was also a real nice Banshee out there (not sure what year) on nitrous, but he grenaded his engine while racing a Raptor 700 before I could race him. Im looking forward to drag racing at that park again once we install the HMF exhaust and jet kit. One thing about the KFX700 when drag racing, the auto trans makes it a consistent drag racer. You don't have to worry about missing a gear or letting the clutch out too quickly on the start. You can make consistent passes every time.
