Default p360 clutch springs

I'm considering the epi pink/black spring combo for my p360.It sounds like the black secondary is the way to fly.Does the pink primary spring increase stall speed over stock,if so how much?I thought I read somewhere that you can change the primary spring without removing the entire assembly?Maybe then I would'nt need a puller. Thanks in advance for any input.

hello firstkaw--i havent logged in in quite some time and was disappointed to see that no one answered you--First off, if i remember correctly you do not need a puller to change the primary spring--just take off the 6 or so bolts and the spring comes right out--I believe that the primary spring has a lot to do with low end--I have my kebc removed so I use a very low stall primary spring which helps keep the clutch engaged when going down steep hills. I also use the black epi secondary spring-this is a little trickier to change than the primary and you will need to make a nyroc tool or buy a tool to change it. if i can give you some advice??? Dont mess with the stock muffler--I tried everything and mine runs best stock--these motors are low compression and need backpressure from the muffler to run correctly. I would also recommend to you a dynojet needle jet kit. This will make the bike a little peppier--the 360 is a big heavy load and it will never go fast, so work on your low end as much as possible. also dont be fooled by the air cleaner BS---you will not gain anything by changing your airbox or drilling holes---keep it stock--an aftermarket air filter wont hurt but it wont help either. these wacky carbs on our 360's require restriction to open the vacuum needle jet so leave it stock.

holly molly, oleman is back. I wondered were you have been. With the sping question though, i put the black secondary in and it gave me allot more low end. I Suggest you take out shimmes too. That will keep your belt tight.

Good to see you back OMM. Missed your posts and was concerned that you had run into some bad times. Your advice and postings are what made me decide to stay stock. Works well for what I do.

Good To see olemanmoses. I'm going to purchase the black secondary spring but know seems to know what the best primary spring is. If anyone does know speakup.

Everyone has a different choice of primary springs - the tighter the spring the jerkier the start because of the higher RPM's at engagemant. Glad to have you back OMM.

- Also, has anyone here tried putting in the advanced timing key for the P360 that Diamond G Racing sells?
