Default Heat shield

I got an 06' BF 750, My stick-on heat shield under my rear fender is starting to come off. Just wondering if it is something that needs to be replaced or if I can just take it off. It is starting to look like crap.

i asked this once before and some people say they just pulled it off and didnt really need it and some say they silconed it back on. my was hanging for while and just this morning while washing it i pulled it all the way off. i dont see any really bad side efects from not having it. i dont think your fender will melt. you could always get some more and it back on.

You can buy rolls of metal tape, If the surface is clean will stick big time, I have a bunch around if you want me to cut you off some and send it to ya.
