i have heard lots of good about the works. i did go with Elkas myself, but i have not tried the others, so i cannot offer comparisons.
i removed the swaybar on my brute for more flex on the rock, and this makes it feel more tippy than with it, but in reality i can go where i could before, i just cannot take corners at high speeds like before.

Yes, Elkas are pricey. You call them up and you tell them what machine you have, how much you weigh (with riding gear on) and what your riding style is, then they will recommend a type of shock for you and will custom build them for your application. After the switch though, the quad handles and rides better...
