Funny story
Ok well maybe its not so funny really. I noticed the other day the side plastic on my BF750 was a little browned where the exhaust is behind it. Then I noticed the fan seemed to be running an awful lot for not an extremely hot day and being in the rain and wet trails. So I looked at the resivoir and didnt really see anything in there, but it was covered in mud. I got it home and stuck some paper down in it and it came out dry. WOO HOO!!! I pulled the front plastics off and looked in the radiator itself and it was pretty empty. I dont know how long it was like this for and am hoping I didnt do any damage to anything. I got radiator flush and flushed it out with that and then water and filled it back up. I pulled the hot fluid hose off and started it up for a few seconds and it was pumping fluid out so I feel thats good. So I'm looking for opinions. Anyone think I damaged anything or should I be ok? What should I look for? Thanks.

I just remembered something. When my Vforce was brand new it leaked prestone out the top return hose to the radiator. It leaked out quite a bit too. You may want to check the hose clamp on the return line to the radiator. Just a thought, but an easy fix if thats where your leak is.

I completely pulled out the radiator and kind of pressure tested it. I plugged it up, submerged it in water, and put about 4psi in it. No air bubbles came out so that was good. All the clamps are retightened and I havent seen any leaks. I'm going to start carrying antifreeze and just keep a close eye on it. It couldnt have been low too long as it only has 400 miles on it so hopefully I'm safe. Thanks for the info guys.
