Jump in and give it a shot, physically changing the jets is not complicated at all. It is kind of a pain getting to the carbs to do it but installation is pretty straight forward. If you get the needles right you'll know right away, the mains are a little harder to get because it may seem to run ok but you have to do a plug read to make sure.
