Default Power difference, Brute Force 650i or 750i?

My brother is looking at buying a Brute Force the same year as mine. However you all know that one brother just has to out do the other, so he is looking at the 750i. On that note does anyone know just how much extra power you have on a stock 750? Is it worth the extra cash? I know that the tow capacity's and other features are the exact same. The 750i just seems to weight more.

the 750 has 1.5 hp on the 650i, but the 650i is 2 pounds heavier. essentially identical before mods IMO. it'll be a coin toss.

Just spoke to dealer today. He said 750i a lilo' bit stronger???

Anyway, he is trying to upsell, and for only400 more than 650i, he might have me. He is talking about 7400 for the 750i???

I will tell you what I own and what my verdict is. I own (as we speak) a 05 750 camo and a 06 650 camo. When we drag race the two you can throw a blanket over the quads up to 65 mph. It all comes down to the price diff. between the two that would decide witch one I would buy. If it were me. I buy the 650 for two reasons. #1 they are cheaper and #2 I like being the underdog. With the 650 you are not supposed to beat or stay up with 750. But I will tell you you will beat your fare share of 750's with the 650. Keep your drive belt adjusted properly and you will have your fare share of fun. Just remember. If you own a 750 your expected to win. It's not to fun when you loose.

The bf650 will not beat the bf750, HOWEVER it is not far behind. And, the bf650 should beat all the 650 and 700cc class quads with the outy650 as maybe the only exception. And then again, the bf650 and outy650 should be neck and neck. Just like ALLTOOS said, when you own a 650, you are not expected to win, but if you get the bf650, be prepared to have a few wins and shock some people. If you add a ignition and jet kit to it, then you will really light up some faces. If I was purchasing right now between the two, I would get the bf650i and with the money I saved, I would add the ignition and jet kits. Then add some nice tires as the mfg tires suck. Then you are set to have a smile engraved on your face every time you ride it.

Another thing to consider is that most people add tires, wheels, and a cdi. Put the same tires and cdi on the 750 and 650 and the 750 will probably win every time. The power difference though between the two is less than the difference between the 750 BF and the outty 800. The 750 has been known to beat a few 800's with a cdi.
To me, the 750 was noticeably bigger at the dealership.

I just got me and my g/f two bran new atv's. I got the 750i NRA edition brute force and I got her a 650i camo brute force both 2007 models. These atvs are bad *** the 750 sounds pissed off all the time it is very fast and I had it up to 72mph the other day and that was goin up a incline hill on paved road. I think hers was toping out at around 66mph and when you line them up the 750 will smoke it off the line and just keep leaving it there is no toss up between the two. The 750 is awsome its lighter and side by side you cant tell which one is the 750 or the 650 without reading the decal on the side. You can not see any size difference between them I think the 750 is actually about 4lbs lighter than the 650. I was driving with some friends the other day and I was traveling about 18mph and punched the throttle and the front tires just came right up. The only bad thing about them is the retard function that is set on them from 0mph to around 7 to 10mph but i understand why kawasaki did this it was to keep the front tires on the ground cause these things got some crazy power for 4x4 quads. I am goin to get me a new cdi to turn this feature off so i can get the full potential of my quad.

when you change your cdi and you stab the throttle from a dead stop, keep your left hand close on your back brake lever.
