I just went outside to start my 95 bayou 300 4x4. The starter sounds like it is free spinning. Good thing is the pull starter worked great. Where do I start to figure out what is wrong. This will be my first work on a ATV other then removing the rear driveshaft on my 220.

 

I tried it again after the motor was warm and no problem. Is this a sign of it going out or something I can to do keep it from happening again or getting worse?
