Hey Mike, how come you've never done the upgrade to NGK race wires, and siliconing the coil wires? Seems like the kind of thing you'd do.

Thanx for asking, but the reason is simple. I have the Dyna CDI and it is designed to be used with the stock (resistor-type) plugs and wires. IMO, the minimal amount of gains to be had using NGK race wires and plugs are not worth the chance of frying my CDI.

As far as siliconing the coil wires, I think that is only needed if you use the VDI brand CDI...the VDI CDI has been known to have some water issues. The Dyna CDI has been pretty bullet-proof against water contamination as far as I'm aware.
